2018 Updated General Registration Information

NO FAMILY DISCOUNT FOR 2018 / SIGN UP MONTH OF JANUARY TO GET $25 DISCOUNT PER CHILD

Registration is completely done online, but you can still pay by check via the P.O. Box (or at the parent meeting in March-TBD). Once you have created your online profile you will be able to begin filling in the online questions.  Once completed you will need to complete the following steps in order for your child(ren) to be active in the league database. It is very important that you provide a valid and current email address when creating your profile as that email is our primary method of contacting you.  This email address will also be used by your coaches and linked to your volunteer account.  If you registered your child in 2014 or later the birth certificate and address uploads are saved in your child's profile and do not need to be uploaded again. You will only need to upload your volunteer spot confirmation for the current season 

 

1. Upload a copy of your child's birth certificate

2. Upload proof of current address (utility bill, voter or vehicle registration, insurance policy)

3. Mail the following to Greenfield Little League:

  • $200 check made out to GREENFIELD LITTLE LEAGUE (please write the player’s name in the note area). – If you have more than one child, a second $200 check must be sent – max 2 checks per family.
  • SELF ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE TO RETURN YOUR CHECK AT THE END OF THE SEASON (IF YOU WANT YOUR CHECK BACK) - IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE AN ENVELOPE YOUR CHECK WILL BE DESTROYED

4. WHEN SCHEDULE IS AVAILABLE:  Proceed to VolunteerSpot and sign up for a volunteer shift (February/March 2018 when the game schedules have been completed).  

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN UP FOR ONE VOLUNTEER SHIFT PER CHILD (MAX 2 SHIFTS PER FAMILY); upload your VolunteerSpot confirmation to your child’s profile once you have signed up for your volunteer position(s).  Again, the website will NOT be availalbe until the game schedules have been completed.

 

For your convenience only:

  • If you are unable to upload your Volunteer Spot confirmation:  Please mail to PO Box and write the player(s) name on the confirmation email;

and/or

  • If you choose to pay by check (payable to GLL or Greenfield Little League), you will also need to mail a copy of your invoice along with your payment in full to the following address:

NEW THIS SEASON:  In the past, if your volunteer shift was canceled, your volunteer requirement was considered complete.  For the 2018 season, this is not the same.  If games are canceled due to weather and fields are closed for your scheduled shift, you will be required to sign up for another volunteer shift.  However, if the games are canceled during your volunteer shift, your volunteer duties will be counted as complete!

 

**Please note that we hold your volunteer fee check until you complete your scheduled shift.  At the completion of the season we mail your check back to you in the self-addressed, stamped envelope you provide.  If you fail to arrive at your scheduled shift Greenfield Little League will immediately cash your check.  If you do not show for your shift, you will have one chance to get $100 of the $200 back by taking on another shift.  You will receive your $100 at the completion of that shift.

 

Please note that your child will not be active and cannot be placed on a team, participate in clinics or practices until all forms (volunteer sign-up excluded) have been received and all fees including league, fundraiser and volunteer fees have been paid in full.

ROOKIE LEVEL (BASEBALL & SOFTBALL)  - $75

MINOR A BASEBALL LEVEL - $75

MINOR AA BASEBALL LEVEL - $100

MINOR SOFTBALL LEVEL - $100

MAJOR LEVEL (BASEBALL & SOFTBALL) - $100

INTERMEDIATE BASEBALL LEVEL - $100

JUNIOR LEVEL (BASEBALL & SOFTBALL) - $100

 

BEER & WINE TASTE FUNDRAISER PER CHILD (6 tickets @ $35 each) - $210

(As in the past, tickets will be available at the March Parent Meeting - Tickets Can be Paid for at Pick-Up)

 

FUNDRAISER BUYOUT PER CHILD - $100

REGISTRATION ENDS APRIL 1, 2018.  A LATE FEE OF $25 PER CHILD WILL BE ASSESSED AFTER APRIL 1, 2018 / NO FAMILY DISCOUNT APPLIED
